Our fantastic beard wash available in a 200ml bottle is an absolute must for your beard care routine, we've been working on the perfect wash for two years and are now proud to be able to share our creation with you.

Firstly we'd like to tell you a few things about our wash, it's all natural does not contain any sulfates, parabens or silcones. We looked into the science of what a beard wash should be and found the ingredients to fit the criteria of what we wanted to create, our goal was to create a low pH wash without having any harsh surfactants.

This product is Lemon scented but it's not too overpowering, we wanted to give the wash a fresh scent but not one that would hang around after you've finished washing as we always recommend applying a beard oil, balm or butter after drying and we didn't want the scents to clash.

Keeping your skins pH levels in check

Your natural skins pH is incredibly important to maintain because if your skins pH increases it'll strip your skin of it's natural oils and cause dry skin and itchiness and if it goes down your skin will become too oily which can lead to clogged pores and acne.

The skins natural pH sits at between 4.7 and 5.75 on the pH scale which means in order to maintain this you need your wash to replicate that same pH level. Our beard wash is 5.1 pH which makes it perfect to maintain your natural pH.

What does our beard wash contain?

(Aqua) or water to you and me, we use pure distilled water.

Decyl Glucoside is a natural, non-ionic surfactant and emulsifier, ideal for all foaming and cleansing products. It is a combination of plant based fatty alcohols.

Glycerine (Vegetable Glycerine) Pure vegetable oil derived glycerine. The Glycerine is sourced from Rapeseed Oil.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine is an amphoteric, secondary surfactant (co-surfactant) and viscosity enhancer.

Tetragonoloba gum (Cosmetic grade Guar Gum). This is used to bind the ingredients together to increase viscosity. Guar gum is a resinous material derived from the ground endosperm of the Guar.

Acetic Acid (Apple Cider Vinegar). I know what your thinking but apple cider vinegar has been proved to be a great conditioner for the hair as well and it's anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties help combating skin infections, dryness, itchiness and dandruff while taming rough hair cuticles and fight split ends.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe vera juice) is a rich source of antioxidants and vitamins that may help protect your skin, it also contains something called proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair.

Citrus Limon (Lemon essential oil) Peel Oil can kill bacteria that may get trapped in pores and cause breakouts. It can also clarify your skin with antioxidants and vitamin C, gently exfoliating dead skin cells that so often become trapped in hair follicle and pores.

Since lemon oil has healing properties, you get the added bonus of speedier healing from breakouts and treatment of your acne scars when you use it.

Lemon Essential Oil is also reputed to have powerful anti-microbial activity. It can also boost energy and metabolism, uplift the mood, enhance skin quality
